Former Chairman Zila Council, Lahore, Chaudhry Shaukat Ali, has withdrawn a petition from the Lahore High Court (LHC) in which he prayed to surrender himself before the court.
The office of the LHC has raised objection and asked the petitioner to surrender himself before the court, and then apply for bail.
The petitioner prayed to the Chief Justice LHC to direct the office to put his petition before the judge as objection case, however his counsel withdraws the petition.
The petitioner is absconder as he is facing a reference on the charges of misappropriation of Zila Council Funds.
