The Karachi Port handled 53,459 tonnes of cargo including 35,779 tonnes import and 17,680 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 16,838 tonnes dry and 36,621 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Dong He, Kota Wajar, S. Caboto, Shalamar and Bunga Terasek sailed to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Apl Portugal, Sinar Bontang and Aristos-III are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Apl Portugal, Irne and Sibi expected to sail on Wednesday, while M. V. Aristos-III is expected to sail on Thursday.
Four ships namely Hyundai Future, Qatari Ibn Al-Fujaa, African Osprey and Le Ding due to arrive on Wednesday, while three vessels viz Clipper, Corinthiakos and Marinor are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM

A total cargo volume of 49,904 tonnes including 31,204 tonnes import and 18,700 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 12,062 tonnes chemicals and 37,842 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely CMA CGM Capella and Al Farabi are expected to sail on Wednesday.
A total of two vessels viz CMA CGM Capella and Sea Swan are currently at the outer anchorage.
Chemical tanker M. T. Yanasena due to take berth on Wednesday.
Two vessels viz Lauren and Athenoula due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship M. T. British Adventure is due to arrive on Thursday.
