Bulls dominate ISE proceedings

Bulls dominated the proceedings at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where equities witnessed broad-based recovery under the lead of heavyweights amid increase in index.
ISE network index showed an improvement of 78.51 points from 10,653.02 to 10,731.53 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 7,544,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 6,946,400 shares.
Total 149 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks, 86, closed in positive territory, 62 showed negative signs while one company remained pegged to its previous level.
The turnover of OGDC was 5,071,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 4,724,500 shares.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 778,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 685,000 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 675,000 shares.
