It gives me immense pleasure to extend my felicitation to Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association for continuing its 6th Export Excellence Award Ceremony to confer awards on the leading exporters on the basis of their export performance of 2003.
The PRGMEA Export Trophy Awards are instrumental in promoting healthy competition among exporters.
The Government on its part is providing all necessary incentives and facilities to exporters with its liberal policies and outward looking trade and foreign exchange regime.
The private sector has to work in harmony with the Government for exploring new markets, and to diversify exports through aggressive marketing. The Government is determined to expand Pakistan Exports to the maximum extent.
Our exporters and manufacturers are a dynamic community and PRGMEA award winners are no doubt heroes of this community. They really deserve our commendation and congratulation.
I wish to congratulate the PRGMEA and its managing committee for organising this prestigious event of the private sector, which has been playing a vital role in earning foreign exchange and creating a spirit of competition among the exporters.
