After its momentous win in the Multan Test, the Indian team on Friday relaxed in the team hotel following a "celebration dinner" late into the night.
"Friday is total rest for the team. We had a celebration dinner last night," said a team official. The Indian team enjoyed a "victory dinner" along-with some other close friends invited at Pearl Continental hotel in Lahore.
"We leave the celebration matters to youngsters and they plan how to celebrate a win," said stand-in captain Rahul Dravid. "We will celebrate it in a big way once we win the series because it would be a huge satisfaction," said the captain.
The team flew in late in the evening from Multan and after settling down, had the dinner, which went late into the night.
It is also a family reunion for some of the players as Dravid's wife, along with wives of Ajit Agarkar and VVS Laxman, are expected to join their hubbies by Saturday.
The Indian team on Thursday registered its first ever Test win on Pakistani soil when it beat the hosts by an innings and 52 runs in the first Test in Multan.
