Speaker National Assembly Chaudhry Amir Hussain has said that as many as 150 members of the National Assembly have expressed their views on President Musharraf's address to the joint sitting of the Parliament.
Out of which 91 MNAs of the opposition and 59, including Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, of treasury benches have expressed their viewpoints.
Talking to Business Recorder in Najwal village on Friday night, he added that it was the longest debate in the parliamentary history of the country.
The debate lasted for 38 hours by the members of the National Assembly.
Chaudhry Amir Hussain said that the members of the National Assembly, both opposition and the treasury benches, were given sufficient time for expressing their viewpoints on the President's address.
PRODUCTION ORDER: About the production order of Javed Hashmi, the National Assembly speaker said: "Different aspects are being reviewed " adding that "the parliamentary group of the PML-N has already discussed the issue during a meeting with me recently."
Chaudhry Amir Hussain said: "Javed Hashmi is involved in various cases and a decision would be made keeping in view all the aspects."
The National Security Council bill, he said has been handed over to the Human Rights Committee for review and later on it would be discussed in the House and for approval it would be sent to the Senate.
