Colburn S. Wilbur, Member, the Board of Trustees of the Population Council and former president of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, called on Punjab University Vice Chancellor Arshad Mahmood on Monday.
He discussed population-related issues with him and possibility of collaboration with the Punjab University, specifically in master's programme in Population Sciences at the Department of Sociology.
Arshad Mahmood briefed him about the academic and research activities of the Punjab University.
Meanwhile, Wilbur attended a seminar, organised by the sociology department, while its Chairman Dr Abdul Hafeez was also present.
