The Karachi Port handled 102,033 tonnes of cargo including 75,648 tonnes import and 26,385 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 57,770 tonnes dry and 44,263 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Apl Venezuela, Goa, MT Swat, Astra, Chem Baltic and Torm Margrethe sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Eax Sanctity, Skolten, Pu He, Colombo and Panama Express are currently at the berths.
Seven ships namely Lucas, Loyalty, Colombo, Panama Express, Malakand, Artemon and Pacific Star are expected to sail on Thursday, while three vessels viz Safmarine Pak, PU He and Lou Qing are expected to sail on Friday.
Four ships namely Commuter, Pacific Star, MT Shalamar and Safmarine Pak due to arrive on Thursday, while seven vessels viz Spring Creek, Warbah, Hyundai Advance, Kota Intan, Apl Melbourne, Anjum and Eastern Star are due to arrive on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 5,722 tonnes edible oil; 14,551 tonnes crude oil; 823 tonnes coal; 15,027 tonnes iron ore; 2,093 tonnes chemicals and 28,917 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz Pacific Endeavor, Safmarine Prime and Northern Snow sailed out to sea on Thursday.
A total of three vessels viz MSC Jordan, Yanaseni and Amalia Del Beni are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely MSC Jordan and Yanaseni due to take berths on Thursday.
