Commodities on the wholesale markets fluctuated both ways showing modest loss or gain during the work ended on April 24, 2004.
Major items fluctuated were til, milk powder, tea, yellow peas and dal, beetle chana I and 50x50, gram new, Irri 9 Sindh and guwar.
The milk powder had a few changes on the lower side such as skimmed Germany up Rs 50 to Rs 3700, Haleeb SMP up Rs 50 to Rs 3650, skim Pak up Rs 50 to Rs 3700, full instant Bale Haleeb lost Rs 50 to Rs 3950, Bailie Gold shed same amount to Rs 3950 and Corolac up Rs 25 to Rs 4000.
KIRANA ITEM: mace down Rs 1000 to Rs 1680, nutmeg shed Rs 80 to Rs 8320, big cardamom down Rs 100 to Rs 700, cloves up Rs 50 to Rs 8950, dry ginger from China up Rs 300 to Rs 65400, sago down Rs 15 to Rs 1075, aniseed down Rs 200 to Rs 4800, cuminseed up Rs 20 to Rs 2600 and darchini down Rs 75 to Rs 2525.
