The Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB), Danyal Aziz on Thursday said that Citizen Community Board (CCB), comprising local people would approve development schemes of the area.
Addressing the Nazims, Naib Nazims and general councillors of Narowal district at Government Degree College for Boys, Narowal, he said that the CCB would consist of 25 local persons, including women and it would be established at union council level.
He said 80 percent funds for the development projects approved by the CCB would be provided by the district government, while remaining 20 percent funds would be arranged by the CCB.
Danyal Aziz said the present government would utilise all its resources for the welfare of masses. Later, he presented cheques of Rs 20,000 to each union council Nazim of the district for reorganising CCB.
