Indian state of Assam's Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi Friday said he had offered Koliabor seat held by his younger brother Dip Gogoi to Prime Minister designate Manmohan Singh, for getting elected to Lok Sabha.
"I can ask my brother to vacate the seat for Singh", Gogoi told reporters here after returning from Delhi.
To a question, he said image of Congress President Sonia Gandhi had been ``brightened before the eyes' of countrymen after her refusing post of Prime Minister.
Commenting on charges made on Congress President and subsequent action by BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Uma Bharti, Chief Minister said "what they did was not in conformity of Indian culture".
