Hinopak's mission is to provide the society with safe and economical, comfortable and environment friendly means of transportation by manufacturing and supplying commercial vehicles and services.
Hinopak is not only a vital contributor in saving of foreign exchange, providing jobs and development of the local industry through its progressive manufacturing but the company has taken a number of steps to improve the environment and reduce pollution.
In the recent years much global awareness has emerged about environment friendly technologies that produce low, or no emissions.
In order to address the growing concerns about pollution, Hinopak has introduced its latest range of vehicles that are in line with global Euro emission standards making Hinopak the first Pakistani commercial vehicle manufacturer to introduce a complete range of environment friendly vehicles.
These vehicles are designed to reduce environmental impact throughout their life cycle with improved fuel efficiency. Further more reduced exhaust emissions have enabled us to control the amount of harmful gases that have a negative impact on the environment.
Hinopak is also actively co-ordinating with our Principal's Hino Motors Ltd, Japan for the development of a dedicated CNG powered bus and it is a matter of great pride for Hinopak that it is the first company in Pakistan to assemble a bus chassis powered by a dedicated CNG engine.
This will pave way for introduction of locally fabricated CNG buses in the near future.
The company was the first Pakistani automobile manufacturer to voluntarily obtaining ISO-14000 certification for its Environment Management System (EMS) in 200x thus striving to minimise the adverse impact of its operations on the environment.
The company has taken a number of steps to minimise and treat the harmful waste generated from its production processes.
As a good corporate citizen Hinopak is committed for public safety and reduction of pollution by creating awareness programs on Road Safety and environmental aspects for transporters. Hinopak has joined hands with a number of governmental and non-governmental organisations by organising seminars and awareness walks to promote these causes.
Hinopak has also arranged Free Service and Tuning Camps where not only are customers vehicles are checked and tuned-up to reduce their emission levels but the transporters and drivers are also trained and instructed to on ways of safer driving, awareness of rights of other road users and ways they can help reduce pollution.
One of the major sources of pollution in our cities are the old dilapidated buses plying in our cities.
Hinopak has actively supported the urban transport scheme launched by the governments of Punjab and Sindh which aims to not only provide greater number of buses for our commuters but also to reduce pollution in cities by introducing new environmental friendly buses on our city roads.
Hinopak is the pioneer and the largest supplier of urban buses under this scheme and has so far delivered around 1000 buses which are successfully plying in the roads of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Gujranwala.
Hinopak is also actively co-ordinating with the provincial governments of NWFP and Balochistan for introduction of similar schemes in these provinces so that the people can also enjoy the benefits of these schemes.
