The Karachi Port handled 55,465 tonnes of cargo including 54,003 tonnes import and 1,462 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 23,435 tonnes dry and 32,030 tonnes liquid cargo.
MV Spica sailed out to sea during the report period.
Two vessels viz Katsina and Corinthaikos are currently at the berths.
MV Warbah expected to sail on Tuesday, while Kota Wangi expected to sail on Wednesday.
MV Apl Shanghai due to arrive on Tuesday, while six vessels viz Al Maqwa, Ever Gather, Hyundai Stride, Tiger Ocean, Dimitra and Oriental Bright are due to arrive on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 13,674 tonnes iron ore and 24,310 tonnes containerised cargo.
A total of six vessels viz MSC Camille, Soreena, Jat Tanker, Impros, Shina and Qem Star are currently at the outer anchorage.
Six ships namely Jat Tanker, Impros, MSC Camille, Cymbaline, Shina and Qem Star due to take berths on Tuesday.
