Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has asked the provincial governments to make efforts for generating resources in order to meet their expenditures.
He was talking to NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani who called on him at his chamber in the Parliament on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister hoped that the next provincial budget for fiscal 2004-05 would be development-oriented.
He assured that the federal government would provide full help and technical assistance to the NWFP government in its preparation for the next year's budget.
Akram Durrani informed the Prime Minister about the latest developments in the preparation of the budget.
