President General Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday expressed his satisfaction over the Pakistan-India talks and underlined that the process of engagement be sustained to make the composite dialogue result oriented.
"It is a good beginning," he said following a briefing by Foreign Secretary, Riaz Khokhar who returned on Monday night after two-day talks with his Indian counterpart in New Delhi.
The foreign secretary made a detailed presentation about the discussions and the called on the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, Foreign Minister, Natwar Singh and the National Security Adviser, J N Dixit.
He said India and Pakistan had comprehensive talks on "Peace and Security including "CBMs" and "Jammu and Kashmir".
Khokhar said the foreign secretaries of the two countries also finalised a calendar of meetings for other agenda items.
