The Karachi Port handled 83,578 tonnes of cargo including 77,561 tonnes import and 6,017 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 26,209 tonnes dry and 57,367 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Ocean Star Light, Mir Damad, Danica Green, Anthina, Koriana and Genmar Boss sailed out to sea during the report period.
Two vessels viz Banglar Kallol and Marivic are currently at the berths.
FIve ships namely Angara, Nur Yanbu, Artemegh, Hyderabad and Chios Harmony expected to sail on Monday, while Marivic is expected to sail on Tuesday.
Three ships namely Hermia, Tai He and APL Jakarta due to arrive on Monday, while four vessels viz Kota Teraju, Sinar Botang, Grand View and Prabo Emu are due to arrive on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 3,015 tonnes chemicals; 3,099 tonnes edible oil; 21,300 tonnes furnace oil; 10,881 tonnes iron ore and 30,498 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely CV Safmarine Pakistan, ER Capetown, Qem Star and Ging Alion sailed out to sea during the report period, while another ship MSC Sardina is expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
A total of three vessels viz Marvia, Sun Great and Iran Sadr are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Marvia, Sun Great and Overseas Harriette are due to take berths on Monday.
Four vessels viz CV P&O Nedlloyd Tiger, MT Bummi, Sunniva and Belsize due to arrive on Monday.
