Corn futures at the Chicago Board of Trade fell to the day's lows by Thursday's mid-session, pressured by outlooks for a large US crop amid mild weather as corn enters pollination, traders said.
Funds sold roughly 7,500 lots by the midsession. Cargill Investor Services sold 2,500 December and ADM Investor Services sold 2,000 December, traders said. New-crop December corn was down 5 cents at $2.53-1/2 per bushel at 11:19 am CDT.
