Speaker National Assembly Chaudhry Amir Hussain has said that government is mobilising all available resources for banishing backwardness from ignored and far-off areas of the country to top priority basis.
Addressing public meetings in adjoining localities Hunterpura and Mughalpura last night after inaugurating Sui gas projects he added that practical steps had been taken for bringing revolutionary changes in backward and way off areas by ensuring modern facilities like gas, telephone, means of communication, health and education.
The step had been taken not only for the redressal of the problems being confronting by the people but also ensures basic amenities in these areas, he added.
Chaudhry Amir Hussain said that due to effective policies of the government the country had not only attained the internal stability as a result of which the image and prestige of the country had been increased many fold globally.
The government had adopted concrete measures for rooting out terrorism aimed at purging the country from the menace of terrorism and whole world was appreciating the polices, commitments and practical steps taken against terrorism he said.
The Speaker National Assembly said that apart from this due to solid economic polices of the government the country had been tracked on right direction and obtained economic stability as a result of which foreign were showing their keen interest in investing in various projects in Pakistan.
The government was actively considering for removing flaws from the local bodies system for making it more effective and purposeful for the larger interest of the masses of the country, Amir Hussain said.
On this occasion the Speaker National assembly was informed that both gas projects would be accomplished in one month at cost of Rs 3 million.
