The Karachi Port handled 101,688 tonnes of cargo including 87,947 tonnes import and 13,741 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 49,664 tonnes dry and 52,024 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely APL Pusan, Kota Merdesa, Panama Express and Warbah sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eight vessels viz Kota Merdesa, Bum Ik, Emblem, Dubulti, Victoty-1, Oriental Bright, Hyundai Sprinter and Tiger Ocean are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Victoty-2, Banglar Kallol, Emblem, Tiger Ocean and Enricher expected to sail on Thursday, while two vessels viz BBC Greece and Spyros-B are expected to sail on Friday.
Two ships namely Genmar Boss and Corinthiakos due to arrive on Thursday, while four vessels viz Militos, Ever Gather, Iran Satteri and Swan are due to arrive on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 8,380 tonnes edible oil; 14,525 tonnes iron ore and 14,926 tonnes containerised cargo.
Oil tanker Baltic Trader sailed out to sea on Thursday morning, while two more ships namely Maersk Arizona and MV Kronos are expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of three vessels viz Spar Leo, Riruccia and Mass Merit are currently at the outer anchorage.
Chemicals carrier Regent Park is due to take berth on Thursday.
MT Qem Star due to arrive on Thursday, while another ship Velebit is due to arrive on Friday.
