All in a day's work! - Enjoying free will.....!
UNDP corrects Pakistan's ranking in Human Development Index (HDI).
Meaning?
The HDI report 2004 had earlier put Pakistan in low human development countries.
Then?
Now the UNDP addendum says that Pakistan now moves to the tier of medium human development countries...........
Really?
Ya, the Human Development Index improves merely by appointing a prime minister-in- waiting!
So keep your fingers crossed, we may step further upward after election.
True!
Come on! The rating is improved owing to revised literacy data.
Great!
The literacy needs to be improved after getting the targeted GDP.
Heard that the Education Minister was put in quite an awkward position in the National Assembly this week.
Really?
She was asked whether she is the education minister for USA or Pakistan.
Oh! No. What was her reply?
She preferred not to reply. She said she did not deem it appropriate to answer the question.
It is ok! Every one has his or her free will to decide.
Is the printing of photographs of the Holy Prophet's companions in 8th class English book also attributed to the free will of the publisher?
Come on! The minister said that no photographs of the Holy Prophet's companions were printed in the 8th class English book published by the National Book Foundation.
Really?
But the minister in a written reply said some sketches taken from books printed in the Muslim countries got printed. But those have been removed.
Meaning they did get printed?
Come on! The minister said that the author had been warned to be careful in future and a similar warning was given to the designer to avoid recurrence.
So the minister was having tough time!
Busy answering tough questions!
Seems so.
But she did question Ms Samina Rasheed Qazi , daughter of Qazi Hussain Ahmed
Really?
What was her question?
She asked Ms Qazi, " if a government employee could also be a member of National Assembly".
Good question!
The same day the Senate was debating the bill to allow politicians holding of public and party offices simultaneously.
Come on!
Ms jalal may be feeling the pain as she had resigned from ministry to contest election.
May be u r right.
Do u know what happened in the Senate?
R u referring to the outage of power in Parliament House when the Senate was busy debating the bill to allow politicians to hold both public and party offices at the same time.
No , am not referring that!
Was the Minister for Water And Power present?
Come on!
Had he been present the outage was not possible.
Ya, u r right!
Every thing goes well when the master is there.
What r u trying to say?
Nothing! Just trying to tell you that the mice in Parliament building are enjoying life.
Meaning?
The lift got stuck due to some adventurous mice when the Senate Chairman was on board .
Great!
The mice may have wanted to accompany the Senate Chairman.
He was informed that the mice are roaming freely in parliament building and r hindering the important legislative work.
So the mice r prevailing over men when the cat is away.
Ya, every one has the right to live as per his/her wishes.........
Till the cat returns from abroad.
