Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi would visit China next month to discuss matters of mutual interest on automobile sector. The visit of the minister will start from August 4 on the invitation of the President of Dong Feng Automobile Company Limited to see the Dong Feng production facilities.
The visit will provide additional opportunities to Dong Feng Automobile to assist Pakistan in the field of automobile manufacturing.
The minister will also visit various automobile and heavy and light vehicles manufacturing units and discuss with them manufacturing of such vehicles in Pakistan at low prices.
The Dong Feng was also interested to manufacture heavy-duty trucks including prime movers and buses and the minister is likely to finalise the arrangements in this regard.
During the visit the minister will also meet the representatives of China Stone Material Association and another firm interested in establishing fisheries based project in Pakistan.
