"Well, now he is the new UN chappie to Iraq so we as the tax payers, and the government of Pakistan as the discharger of our tax money to everyone who is a public employee, no longer pay his salary if you know what I mean."
"So from being biased he has gone to unbiased?"
"Right."
"But you do know the new breed don't challenge Musharraf anymore. I mean no one challenges him, and the only two challengers are outside the country with their tails between their legs. In the old days remember Zia's time when BB fought him tooth and nail. Ah, what has happened to her?"
"She got married and wanted a few houses and some jewellery! Is that too much to ask?"
"The house was worth over 4 million pounds and the jewellery would have kept at least 1000 families in food for a year."
"And what about Mian Sahib? He is no longer biased, and his story about Kargil?"
"Is anti-state. Hush. Musharraf doesn't like any reference to Kargil. You can tell from the Chaudhry's response to it as well as Sheikh Sahib's."
"Ah yes. But anyway what did Qazi say which was so unbiased?"
"He said that Pakistan's foreign and economic policies have been impressive and the economic turnaround gives us reason to hope that exciting times lie ahead."
"Wow, that sure sounds unbiased to me. I mean has he gone through the streets of his home country lately? The poor seem to be a lot poorer with the high rate of inflation, the poverty levels have risen instead of declining, and God bless IMF they are releasing the last tranche for their poverty reduction growth facility. And do you know what our people think of the foreign policy which is based on attacks against fellow Muslims and saying sorry."

"Musharraf will remain - our Lotas have further strengthened their support for him but I don't think he will take off his uniform - it's not because he doesn't trust the civilians because he doesn't, but they can't touch him, it's because he doesn't trust the others too, I think."
