Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Board (PHDEB) has hired the services of a consultant from Holland, to develop the flora culture industry in the country, in accordance with the international standards.
According to a spokesman of PHDEB, Peter La Graauw, a consultant from Holland, has over 40 years experience in the industry and is building on the successes of the flora industry in Holland, turning it into one of the market leaders in world flora culture industry.
He added that his expertise is in the field of growing, management and marketing, finance, organisation, training and setting up a flora culture industry, with up to date knowledge in international flower and latest business with latest trends and techniques in the field.
The spokesman said that in a recent statement Peter La Graauw has termed Pakistan as a potential country having conducive environment for the professional flora cultural industry as per demand of the international market.
