A jobless person slaughtered his two minor daughters, Jamila (three-year-old) and Sughra (one-year-old) with a sharp scalpel on Friday in village Nichliwala, Kot Chhutta (Choti Zireen), some 120km west of Multan .
People of the area caught hold of him when he was fleeing and handed him over to the area police. He however, did not confess the crime while the accused's grandfather, father-in-law and brother alleged that Hanif went to a brick-kiln but immediately to his home as he failed to obtain a job. Later out of frustration, he slit the throats of his two daughters.
