Nancy visits K-2 base camp

United States Ambassador to Pakistan Nancy Powell visited Skardu city and base camp of K-2, officials sources told APP on Sunday.
"She visited Skardu city and also went to base camp of K-2, Satpara and Kachura lake," well-placed official sources told APP requesting anonymity.
Sources added that her visit to Skardu and rest of its part was kept strictly secret for security reasons. He said that she left Skardu for Islamabad in a helicopter of Army aviation this morning.
High Commissioners of Canada and Britain accompanied her. Sources said that their appearance at public places was restricted for security concern.
