Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), an apex body of traders in country on Sunday expressed their concern over the attack on Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz, in district Attock.
Vice Presidents of FPCCI, Haroon Rashid from Sindh, Sardar Jegezai from Balochistan, Sheikh Maqbool from Punjab, Jehan Zeb Khan from NWFP, Chaudhry Mohammad Saeed from Azad Jammu Kashmir, LCCI chief Mian Anjum Nisar and former federation chiefs, Tariq Sayyed, S.M. Munir and Mehar Alvi in a statement said the ghastly attack deserves all the condemnation and expressed their unflinching solidarity with Shaukat Aziz.
Chairman Pakistan-US Business Council, Iftikahr Ali Malik while presiding over a high level meeting of trade leaders in city on Sunday condemning the attack announced that "Business community would foil the nefarious designs of anti-state elements who are calculated to harm the national interests and sabotage the peaceful atmosphere in the country which he added is pre-requisite for smooth flow of direct and indirect foreign investment."
