Message from Immediate Past President FPCCI & Chairman, Organising Committee of Export Trophy Award Function

I would like to extend my heartiest felicitations to the winners of 27th FPCCI Export Trophy Awards. It is a great honour and pleasure for me that I have been appointed as Chairman of the Organising Committee of FPCCI Export Trophy Awards Function, which is the most prestigious function of the private sector.
The FPCCI Export Trophy Award is not only the recognition of the outstanding performance of the exporters but also an instrument to promote Pakistan's export and to create the spirit among the exporters to achieve these coveted awards.
Despite the increasing competition among the developing countries, economic changes, WTO regime, bogie of child labour and anti dumping, environmental standards, load shedding etc, it is reassuring to note that Pakistan's exports are registering upward tends and the macro policy framework of the Government has proved quite conducive.
Pakistani exporters need to diversify their exports to non-traditional markets and non-traditional items. The non-traditional markets are full of potential and all resources should be exploited to penetrate in these markets.
I also congratulate Mr Riaz Ahmed Tata, President and Member's Managing Committee of FPCCI for organising 27th FPCCI Export Trophy Awards Function.
I am also thankful to the members of the Organising Committee of the Export Trophy Awards Function who made outstanding contribution organising the 27th FPCCI Export Trophy Awards Function Ceremony in a befitting manner.
