French publisher Ubi Soft Entertainment is set to offer 215 million pounds ($391.8 million) for British computer game firm Eidos Plc, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
Eidos, which created the hit computer game series "Tomb Raiders", staring Lara Croft, said on August 3 that it was in preliminary talks that could lead to an offer being made for the company, sending its shares to an eight-week high.
Eidos and Ubi Soft were not immediately available for comment.
Eidos' closing share price of 108-3/4 pence on Friday gave it a market capitalisation of 155 million pounds.
