ISE index loses 69.97 points

Market players and genuine traders offloaded their positions on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh bearish assault moved the entire ready-board in downward direction amid increase in index.
The ISE network index showed a decrease of 69.97 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,922.84 to 11,852.87 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,185,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,029,700 shares.
Total 129 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (85) closed in positive territory, 42 showed negative signs, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The turnover of OGDCL was 662,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,101,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 200,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 737,500 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 102,500 shares.
