Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi will inaugurate the "Experts Moot on WTO" to be held here on Wednesday.
The moot is being organised by Experts Advisory Cell (EAC) at the Ministry of Industries and Production to provide a common platform to WTO experts from the government.
It will also aim to provide platform to the private sector organisations as well as NGOs to deliberate upon WTO agreements and issues and formulate workable recommendations in their respective areas of interest, said an official of EAC.
The moot would provide a unique opportunity to share experiences and evaluate gains and losses to Pakistan as a result of WTO agreements.
The Chairman EPB, Tariq Ikram, Secretary Industries, Dr Mutawakkal Qazi, Incharge WTO Cell, Qasim Niaz, Faizullah Khilji, Chairman National Tariff Commission and senior government officials and representatives from private sector will attend the moot.
