Pakissan.com, an agri E-business portal, has announced to include an exclusive chapter on the poultry industry in its website.
According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, a function was held at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, which was attended by the vice-chancellor of the University, Dr Manzoor Ahmad, Chairman Pakistan Poultry Association, Yousaf Ehsan Khokhar and others.
Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmed, in his address, said that the basic reason of the recent crisis faced by poultry industry was lack of authentic information about this sector. He hoped that the portal would provide information pertaining to latest developments taking place at local, as well as international level in the poultry field.
Yousaf Ehsan, Chairman, Pakistan Poultry Association lauded the Pakistan for catering the needs of 400,000 visitors from the Agribusiness by supplying a complete set of agricultural information. He assured his all-out co-operation to portal's management for raising the poultry chapter at par with the agribusiness section.
Abdul Basit, Chairman Big Bird group, expressed confidence over Pakistan's professional capabilities and hoped that the portal would be of high use in disseminating the modern research and development reports.
Dr Khalid Mehmood Shouq and Majid Rafiq, founder of the portal also spoke on the occasion, the release concluded.
