Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday said that his government's sole agenda was welfare of the people and economic prosperity and stability of the country.
He was talking to a group of parliamentarians who called on him here at Prime Minister House on Sunday.
The delegation was led by Major (Retd) Tanveer Hussain Syed. They felicitated the Shaukat on assuming the charge as Prime Minister and on obtaining the vote of confidence from National Assembly with a comfortable majority.
The Prime Minister thanked the allied parties for reposing confidence in him and hoped that with their help and co-operation the democratic institutions would gain further strength.
The members of the delegation expressed their full support and confidence in the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister and said that the country would benefit tremendously by his vision for economic prosperity through macro-economic stability.
The other members of the delegation were MNAs Dr Sher Afgan, Azhar Ahmed Khan Yusafzai, MuhammadAslam Bodla and Asad Murtaza Gilani.
