Sindh Tourism Development Corporation has chalked out a comprehensive programme to promote tourism in the province.
This was stated by the Managing Director, Sindh Tourism Development Corporation, Abdul Ali Memon, in an interview with Radio Pakistan in Karachi on Sunday.
He said that an 'entertainment city' is being planned at Hawkes Bay beach in Karachi on 2000 square yards. The plan includes construction of hotel, restaurant and recreational facilities for the people, specially children.
He said that Gorakh, a Murree-like place in Dadu district at a height of 5668 feet, is being developed as a summer resort.
Improvement and expansion work is also being carried out at Keenjhar and Halayjee lakes in Thatta district and Sambara Inn at Moenjodaro in Larkana district.
