Lahore High Court (LHC) disposed of a petition filed against director FIA Lahore, when he informed the court that he has already ordered registration of a criminal case against one of the respondents Khair Din.
The petitioner Allah Ditta through his counsel Muhammad Arshad Rana contended that he had obtained Rs 9,000 from respondent Khair Din but failed to pay back the amount in time.
The respondent Khair Din in connivance with the FIA officials received Rs 20,000 from him illegally. He approached the respondent FIA officials but they failed to take any action against them. He approached the court, which directed the respondent officials to hold inquiry and take action against the delinquent officials.
However, the respondent director FIA failed to take any action.
The petitioner again approached the court through a contempt petition. The court disposed of the petition as the respondent official informed the court that they have completed the inquiry and ordered registration of case.
