Sitting leadership of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) left no stone unturned to implement the manifesto given by the Piaf-Founders Alliance during last year election campaign as a result of which business activities improved and business community realised the importance of Chamber.
This was claimed by the Piaf Chairman Muhammad Ali Mian and In- charge election campaign of the Alliance while speaking at different gatherings of traders and manufacturers of plastic products at Paper Market, Urdu Bazar, Science Market and Ravi Road Timber Market, says a press release issued here on Thursday.
He said that from next year leadership of the Alliance would take steps which could result in increasing national exports, improving productivity, checking unemployment and making Pakistan self-reliant.
Muhammad Ali Mian said that Alliance had majority in the executive committee of the LCCI and after winning the forthcoming elections with the co-operation of markets and industrial areas, it would be further strengthened.
Alliance candidates for associate class Aftab Ahmad Vohra, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Faisal Iqbal and Ali Asghar Malik were also present on this occasion.
Meanwhile Chamber class candidates of the Alliance Mian Shafqat Ali, Kashif Younis, Majid Abdullah and Sheikh Muhammad Younis also held meeting in industrial areas as a part of their election campaign.-PR
