Textile mill robbed of over Rs 0.5 million

Four armed men barged into Sindh Fine Textile Mills Limited office and took away cash and valuables worth over Rs 0.5 million.
According to Iftikhar Soomro, chief executive of the company, at about 1.45 pm on Friday, four armed persons entered Sindh Fine Textile Mills Limited office situated in Standard Insurance House, I.I. Chundrigar Road, overpowered the staff at gun point, brutally beat the staff members, snatched cash, prize bonds and three mobile phone sets and other valuables worth over Rs 0.5 million, calculator, passports of director and family.
Then they took the staff members to second floor and there they locked them in the room and left, saying that if anyone left before 15 minutes, he would be shot dead.
