A civil court on Monday granted stay against the owner of a prime residential land at Wafaqi Colony for not honouring land sale agreement.
The petitioners, Muhammad Tahir Faizi and Shahzad Hassan, through their counsel contended that Simon Amanat and Haroon Mahmood son of Amanat Masih entered into a sale agreement with them for nine-kanal and 10-marla land at Wafaqi Colony (Mauza Dhana Singh Wala), Lahore, and received Rs 5 million as 'Bayana' while remaining balance of Rs 17 million was to be paid at the time of transfer of land free from all sorts of litigation.
The court granting the interim stay, restrained the transfer of land in question to any other person, and summoned the owners.
