Former US president Bill Clinton is "OK" after heart bypass surgery here on Monday, Fox television network quoted his wife Senator Hillary Clinton as saying, without giving further details.
There was no immediate official word from doctors at New York's Presbyterian Hospital, who were due to give a press conference after the procedure.
The 58-year-old Clinton, who battled weight problems throughout his eight years in the White House and was known to have a taste for fast food, was hospitalised on Friday.
