Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri has said Indian occupied Kashmir is very important issue for Pakistan and cannot be sidelined.
In an interview with BBC TV on Wednesday, the minister said history and the wars fought between Pakistan and India teaches us that Indian occupied Kashmir issue cannot be sideline and ignores.
He recalled that President Pervez Musharraf went to Agra and announced four point formula for the resolution of Indian occupied Kashmir issue, which India has recognised.
In response to a question he said breakthrough will not come at diplomatic level, it will come at Political level.
Indian occupied Kashmir issue required determination, he said and added fortunately Pakistan has both determination and the Political will.
"Pakistan and India understand each others difficulties, "India and Pakistan also understand that there are people in both sides who want that the dialogue process should continue," he added.
Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri said Pakistan wants durable peace in South Asia and also desires that the peace process should remain in place.
In response to a question he said it is not possible that to resolve Indian occupied Kashmir issue in one or two meetings.
Replying to a question Kasuri said all the eight issues of composite dialogue process are important for durable peace in South Asia.
He said issue of visa relaxation is not a small thing as Indians or Pakistanis can visit each other country easily.
He urged the media to support peace process between Pakistan and India.
