Chairman, Pakistan Tanners Association, S M Naseem in a press statement has informed the outcome of PTA members' participation in one of the potential events of Leather, All China Leather Exhibition held from 1-3rd September 2004 at Shanghai.
18 PTA member exhibitors took part in the exhibition under the umbrella of Pakistan Pavilion in collaboration with EPB and displayed their finest quality of products.
Naseem informed that during the 3-day exhibition, a number of foreign buyers/customers visited the Pakistani stands at the Pavilion from different countries like Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, USA, Sweden, Holland, Italy, UK, Canada, Australia, Poland, Taiwan, Finland, Malaysia, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Thailand, Singapore France etc and appreciated the super quality leather produced by PTA members and held meaningful discussions for business ties.
The PTA chairman further informed that the Commercial Counsellor in the embassy of Pakistan at Beijing also paid a visit to the stands in Pakistan Pavilion and discussed with Pakistani exhibitors business prospects as well as difficulties, if any, faced by them.
As far as promotion and publicity of Pakistan's participation in this event is concerned, PTA published its chairman's views and comments in the Chinese language 'Special Supplement' brought out on the eve of the Fair, whereby inviting the potential buyers and customers to visit the Pavilion for observation and fruitful discussion.
S M Naseem thanked all the quarters concerned particularly EPB for helping PTA for the promotion of country's exports to the potential market of China and hoped to achieve target in the supreme national interest.-PR
