Piaf-Founders Alliance will focus on reduction in input cost, making taxation system trader-friendly, setting up of police safety commission, reducing fares in PIA and railways, search for new foreign markets and improving law and order situation.
Piaf-Founders Alliance Associate Class candidate Sheikh Muhammad Arshad stated this during door-to-door campaign at Liberty Market and Hafeez Centre along with other three candidates from the Alliance, Aftab Ahmad Vohra, Faisal Iqbal and Ali Asghar Malik.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, they said that the alliance leadership did not visit the markets only during electioneering, but maintain their contact throughout the year.
For the same purpose the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) sitting President Mian Anjum Nisar along with his team visited all the markets of Lahore.
Arshad said that the alliance has given full attention to the problems of the traders due to which now even small traders were eager to have membership of the LCCI.
The press release also said that Liberty Market Association President Zaheer A. Babar, Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, Bashir A. Bakhsh, Moeen-uddin and other traders' representatives welcomed the alliance candidates and assured their full support.-PR
