It is high time the steps should be taken to enforce the supremacy of Islamic values among the Muslim societies so as to shield themselves against the hegemony of the Zionists powers.
This was viewed by the Naib Ameer of Jamaat-i-Islami Azad Kashmir, Noorul Bari, while talking to the workers of the Jamaat from the twin cities here on Sunday.
He said due to Muslims' apathy towards upholding Islamic values and non-implementation of the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, the whole community was faced with humiliation and disgrace at the hands of anti-Islam forces.
He emphasised that the only way to regain the lost glory and dignity, was soul-searching and strict implementation of the Islamic tenets.
He pledged that the JI would continue its struggle for enforcement of the noble principles of Islam and the supremacy of the religion of Islam as a moderate and peaceful religion.
He recalled that the JI had rendered uncountable number of sacrifices for the successful culmination of the freedom struggle in occupied land and vowed that more and more would be put into its success.
He urged the workers to invite a large number of countrymen to participate in the upcoming annual procession to be held in Lahore on October 1.
