PSO introduces 'Premier XL' gasoline

The Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has introduced a new revolutionary gasoline known as 'Premier XL' that would outperform all others at no additional cost to customers. The supply of pre-additised 'Premier XL' gasoline across the network of stations has already completed and motorists throughout the country can now notice the "clean" driving difference this gasoline makes.
In this regard, managing-directors of PSO Tariq Kirmani and Afton Chemicals Limited Mike Lewis have inked a long-term agreement at the PSO House, giving the PSO exclusivity to the patented 'HiTEC Gasoline Performance Additive' for use in petrol.
The new product enhances fuel economy, which leads to better engine cleanup and corrosion control of fuel tanks and piping as well as reduces exhaust emissions.
Also, constant use of this new product provides quicker acceleration and better derivability with reduced engine maintenance cost.
The new product is equally good for both new and old cars. It will improve efficiency of old cars by cleaning deposits from engine parts and benefit new cars by keeping engine parts cleaner for a longer period.
Mike Lewis, who had specially flown in to ink the deal with the PSO, said that his company was proud to have been once again chosen to provide a proprietary additive product to the PSO.
"This comes in the wake of our earlier successful collaboration in supplying the additive for 'Green XL Plus Diesel' launched earlier this year," he added.
"As the leading oil marketing company (OMC) and with dominant market shares in fuel segments, the PSO is an ideal partner to benefit the largest possible number of motorists and motorcyclists in the country," he added.
On the occasion, Tariq Kirmani said he was most pleased with another 'first' that the PSO was able to achieve with the introduction of a performance gasoline for cars and motorcycles alike.
"Our customer will continue to demand cleaner and differentiated fuels and services in the deregulated environment," he said, adding that, "we can look forward to lessening of the environmental impact of fuels through acquisition of this technology even though this costs the PSO more."
Kirmani said: "We believe that it is a worthwhile investment in the future of the environment of our country."
Presently, the PSO has been providing innovative and superior products to its customers including 'Green Diesel' and plastic cards.
Premium XL, which is unique and in a class of its own, will help the company to maintain its lead over its competitors.
