Chief Election Commissioner (CEO) former Chief Justice Irshad Hassan Khan has given the schedule of by-election calling upon members of union councils in Kalat tehsil, Kalat district to elect Nazim.
The nomination papers shall be filed with the returning officers from September 22-24, scrutiny will be undertaken on September 27 while polling will be held on October 6.
According to the schedule notice inviting nomination papers will be issued by the returning officer on September 21 and nomination papers shall be received from September 22-24 (Friday).
Publication of notice of nomination papers is on September 25 while scrutiny of nomination papers and publication of names of validly nominated candidates will be on September 27.
Appeals against acceptance/rejection of nomination papers can be filed by on September 28 and disposal of appeals on or before on September 29.
The date for withdrawal of candidature is September 30 and publication of list of contesting candidates on October 1.
Polling will be held on October 6 and declaration of result by the returning officer will be on October 7.
Run off election is on October 14 and declaration of result by the returning officer will be on October 13.
