"I don't think so. Musharraf is in control and everyone is bending over backwards trying to do what they think he wants them to do. In some cases they are over zealous and hit the target right on the head while in other cases they are over zealous and don't hit the target on the head."
"How can you tell the difference?"
"Well, you can't right away but when someone gets fired or resigns from a job we all know he didn't want to resign from, then you can tell."
"This is nothing but the benefit of hindsight."
"Yep and luckily for me there are no repercussions."

"So where is this change visible?"
"In our Chosen One. He never used to like wearing national dress and our politicians, bless their Lota little hearts, have convinced him to wear the national dress. And then Musharraf wanted him to see him off as he went to the US and there was the Chosen One."
"That's the least he can do for Musharraf - see him off. I mean considering what Musharraf has given him."
"Yeah I guess you are right. But there has been a change in Musharraf too. I mean he used to want to take the Chosen One with him everywhere and now that he has become the PM that is no longer allowed."
"Is it because he doesn't want to share the limelight with anyone?"
"Could be or it could be because he took the Finance Minister last time and since the Chosen One is not the Finance Minister anymore..."
"So who is the Finance Minister?"
"Don't know?"
"Oh well, maybe he retains dual charge. I mean if Musharraf can have dual charge why can't his Chosen One."
"Indeed. That would set a good precedence. Hey I just had an idea. Why doesn't the entire Cabinet hold dual charge and let the Maulanas protest that if you will."
