The environment for investment in Pakistan is good. This was stated by head of the visiting trade mission from Britain Micheal Brosch.
He was talking to APP at a reception at the British Deputy High Commission here on Monday night.
The Mission, sponsored by the UK Trade and Investment and organised by the Nottinghamshire has been visiting Pakistan from September 20 to 24.
When asked whether the environment was conducive for the British investment in Pakistan, Brosch replied, "You can always say the environment is not perfect but the environment is good enough. The interest that you see here is a proof that it is good enough".
British Deputy High Commission Hamish St Claire Daniel who was also present on the occasion said that was the first of the five trade missions coming from Britain.
He said they were encouraging people to come and look for themselves that the environment for investment was good.
The UK Deputy High Commissioner spoke about GDP growth rate which was over six percent.
He said there was a stability in the economic sense, in terms of stock market which had seen a big boom in recent months, were all good signs.
Daniel further stated that shows for itself the level of interest that was there.
He informed a mission of information technology from Britain would be coming here in February next year.
The UK Deputy High Commissioner said he would inform about details of the IT mission's visit later on.
