Soft red winter (SRW) wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade turned higher early on Tuesday on buying of calls in the wheat options pit, traders said.
At 10:20 am CDT (1520 GMT), CBOT wheat was up 4 to 5-3/4 cents per bushel, with December up 5-1/2 at $3.34-1/4 per bushel.
Wheat futures were expected to trade lower on Tuesday on improved harvest weather for the US and Canadian spring wheat crops.
