The supply of electricity from Iran to Balochistan districts of Kech, Gwadar and Panjgur will be improved and the interruptions that have been taking place since August last year when the supply started, would be totally removed following steps taken by the Iranian authorities, according to latest information available here.
The Iranian authorities have deputed special teams, including technical equipment needed to carry out the improvements and strengthening of the transmission lines against possible break and the installation of standby arrangements to keep supply the electricity through the emergency system till faults in the main system are removed.
Pakistani authorities had pointed out to their Iranian counterparts the need to ensure constant supply of electricity from Iran.
