Two brothers were arrested from Sukkur on Monday morning because of their alleged contacts with Amjad Farooqi who was killed by security forces on Sunday in Nawabshah on the charge of involvement in assassination bid on President Pervez Musharraf.
Heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies cordoned off Nusrat Colony, old Sukkur and conducted raid on a house and arrested two brothers Khalid Ansari and Sajid Ansari. They have been shifted to some unknown place.
Residents of the area said police and Rangers personnel arrested both brothers and checked their houses thoroughly on Monday morning.
It is learnt the raid was conducted on a tip off provided by the detainees who were apprehended after an encounter in Nawabshah on Sunday.
