Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday directed Deputy Superintendent Police CIA Lahore to submit reply in a petition filed by Noor Islam alleging torture on him and his family members by the respondent police officials.
The petitioner contended the respondent police officials had arrested his son Muhammad Akram and kept him in their illegal custody. They also prepared fake cases against him and sent him to jail. He said his son was in the jail for last one year but respondent officials raided his house on August 31 and asked about his son.
He said police officials tortured him and his family members. It was prayed to the court to direct the respondent police officials to act in accordance with the law.
